Once upon a time, there was a king. The king liked one of his
followers very much because he was very wise and always gave very
useful advice. Therefore the king took him along wherever he went.
One day, the king was bitten by a dog, the finger was injured and the
wound was getting worse. He asked the follower if that was a bad sign.
The follower said, Good or bad, hard to say'. In the end, the finger
of the king was too bad that had to be cut. The king asked the
follower again if that was a bad sign. Again, the follower gave the
same answer, 'Good or bad, hard to say'. The king became very angry
and sent the follower to prison.
One day, the king went hunting in the jungle. He got excited when he
was on the chase of a deer. Deeper and deeper he went inside the
jungle. In the end he found himself lost in the jungle. To make thing
worse, he got captured by the native people lived inside the jungle.
They wanted to sacrifice him to their god. But when they noticed that
the king had one finger short, they released him immediately as he was
not a perfect man anymore and not suitable for sacrifice. The king
managed to get back to his palace after all. And he finally understood
the follower's wise quote, 'Good or bad, hard to say'. If he hadn't
lost one finger,he could have been killed by the native people.
He ordered to release the follower, and apologized to him. But to the
king amaze, the follower was not mad at him at all. Instead, the
follower said, 'It wasn't a bad thing that you locked me up.' Why?
Because if the king hadn't locked the follower up, he would have
brought the follower along to the jungle. If the native found that the
king was not suitable, they would have used the follower. Again, the
quote 'Good or bad, hard to say' stands.
The moral of the story:
Everything that happens in this world, there is no absolute good or
bad. Sometimes good things turned out to be bad things eventually,
while bad things become a gain.
Whatever good things that happen to you, enjoy it, but don't have to
hold too tight to it, treat it as a surprise in your life.Whatever bad
things that happen to you, don't have to feel too sad or despair, in
the end, it might not be a total bad thing after all.
If one can understand this, he or she will find life much easier.

of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand and
hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench. At
the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple
fractures. When the child saw his father with painful
eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'
The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car
and kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own
actions........sitting in front of that car he looked at the

Kindness Pays!
One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal
he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?"
"You don't owe me anything," she replied "Mother has taught us never to accept payment for a kindness." He said... "Then I thank you from my heart."
As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt; stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.
Years later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he we nt in to see her. He recognized her
at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case.
After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the
business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked
at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her
room.
She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her
life to pay for it all. Finally, she looked, and something caught ;
her attention on the side as She read these words.....

romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl.
Although, at that time he was just a small fry in his company, his future didn't seem too bright, they were very happy together. Until one day, his girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualize any future for the both of them, so they went their own ways there and then...
Heartbroken, the guy agreed. But when he regained his confidence, he worked hard day and night, slogging his body and mind just to make something out of himself.
Finally with all the hard work and the help of friends, this guy had
set up his own company ..
You never fail until you stop trying. One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain
walk ing to some destination. Even with the umbrella, they were still
drenched. It didn't take him long to realize they were his girl's parents.
With a heart in getting back at them, he drove slowly beside the
couple, wanting them to spot him
in his luxury sedan. He wanted them to know that he wasn't the same any more; he had his own company, car, condo, etc. He made it! What he saw next confused him, the couple was
walking towards a cemetery, and so he got out of his car and
followed...and he saw his girl, a photograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him from her tombstone and he saw his paper cranes right
beside her...
Her parents saw him. He asked them why this had happened. They
explained, she did not leave for France at all. She was ill with
cancer. She had believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want to be his obstacle... therefore she had chosen to leave him.
Just because someone doesn't love you the way you wa nt them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. She had wanted her parents to put his paper cranes beside her, because, if the day comes when fate brings him to her again...he can take some of those back with him...
Once you have loved, you will always love. For what's in your mind may escape but what's in your heart will remain forever.
The guy just wept...The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting
right beside her knowing you can't have her, see her or be with her
ever again.........hope you understand.
Find time to realize that there is one person who means so much to
you, for you might wake up one morning losing that person who you thought meant nothing to you.

THE WOMEN..
When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day
An angel came by and said: “Why spend so much time on that one?”
And the Lord answered:
“Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her ?"
“She must be washable, but not made of plastic, have more than 200 moving parts which all must be replaceable and she must function on all kinds of food, she must be able to embrace several kids at the same time, give a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart and she must do all this with only two hands”.
The angel was impressed.
“Just two hands....impossible!“
And this is the standard model?!
“Too much work for one day....wait until tomorrow and then complete her“.
“I will not”, said the Lord. “I am so close to complete this creation, which will be the favourite of my heart”.
“She cures herself when sick and she can work 18 hours a day”.
The angel came nearer and touched the woman.
“But you have made her so soft, Lord”
“She is soft", said the Lord, “But I have also made her strong. You can’t imagine what she can endure and overcome.“
“Can she think?" the angel asked.
The Lord answered:
“Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate."
The angel touched the womans cheek....
“Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her.”
“She is not leaking....it’s a tear” the lord corrected the angel
“What’s it for?" asked the angel.
And the Lord said:
“Tears are her way of expressing grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride.”
This made a big impression on the angel; “Lord, you are genius.
You thought of everything. The woman is indeed marvellous!"
Indeed she is!
Woman has strengths that amazes man. She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
She holds happiness, love and opinions.
She smiles when feeling like screaming.
She sings when she feels like crying, crys when she is happy and laughs when she is afraid.
She fights for what she belives in.
Stand up against injustice.
She doesn’t take “no” for an answer, when she can see a better solution. She gives herself so her family can thrive. She takes her friend to the doctor if she is afraid.
Her love is unconditional.
She cries when her kids are victorious. She is happy when her friends do well.
She is glad when she hears of a birth or a wedding.
Her heart is broken when a next of kin or friend dies.
But she finds the strength to get on with life.
She knows that a kiss and a hug can heal a broken heart.
There is only one thing wrong with her
She forgets what she is worth...

RELOCATING ENEMIES
Memorise: "Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways" (Job 22:28)

Some years ago, there was a popular native doctor in Akure, Nigeria. He was extremely ruthless and several people flocked regularly to him. But his shrine was next to the factory of one of my children. One day, this son of mine came to lay a complaint about the terror in his domain. He said each time he went around his factory, he saw mutilated bodies of children - bodies with no heads or genitals. He wanted the man to relocate. When I went to Akure, he showed me the place. I simply lifted my right hand and commanded him to be moved in Jesus' Name. My son asked me, 'Is that all?' Then I told him there are times for regular prayers and there are times for decrees. The fetish priest had built his shrine around an iroko tree. Within seven days of that decree, the iroko tree dried up. And within another seven days the man died. Today, I decree that every satanic nuisance in your life will stop now in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ. I command every satanic strong hold around you to move.
Apart from the fact that Moses' hands were special, the rod in his hands was not an ordinary one. In Exodus 7:10-12, the same rod swallowed the magicians' serpents in Egypt. Every evil force that will not allow you to reach your goal shall be swallowed today in Jesus' Name. From today's reading, it is glaring that Satan can counterfeit God's miracles. Satan has never performed a miracle, only magic. A miracle is the authentic version of a divine intervention in human affairs, while magic is the fake attempt to replicate it. So don't be amazed when people of the occult perform magic. Another lesson here is that both the forces of good and evil know which is real and which is fake. Satan fakes speaking in tongues in a bid to deceive the undiscerning, but when he comes face to face with a genuinely Spirit - filled believer, he panics because the difference is clear. Similarly, from today's reading, God's power supersedes that of Satan. And just as the rod of Moses swallowed the snakes of the Egyptian magicians, every agent of darkness fighting against you will lose their weapons to the power of the Holy Spirit inside of you. Ask in faith today. You can relocate that enemy today!
You are light. Darkness should not dwell with or around you. Command every agent of darkness living around you to relocate now.

The Way Of Escape
God...will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it. - 1Corinthians 10:13 NAS
In the wilderness temptation Satan offered Jesus three things. He also offers them to you:
(1) Satisfaction! Jesus was hungry and Satan tempted Him to turn stones into bread. This was satisfaction without God, because God's plan was to feed His Son supernaturally through angels. But Jesus refused to settle for less - and so should you! (2) Success! But it was success without God. Taking Jesus to the top of the temple, Satan said "Jump off, God will protect You and everyone will believe in You." Success without the cross. Take the easy way out! And hasn't Satan made you that same offer:
"You don't have to take up your cross. You don't have to practice self-denial." Satan lied then, and he's lying to you now. (3) Significance! Satan offered Jesus the kingdoms of this world and their glory if He'd just bow down to him. What an offer. Significance without God! But Jesus rebuked him with a reminder from Scripture that God alone is worthy of being glorified.
Satan will take every legitimate desire you have and try to get you to fulfill it in an illegitimate way. But God "will provide the way of escape." You say "I don't see the way of escape." That's because you're focused on the temptation instead of the way out. God's promise of escape doesn't mean you won't have to persevere and be faithful to Him. And, as in the case of Christ, it involves knowing and being able to use the Scriptures. But it does mean that when God's purpose of victory over temptation has been served, you'll come out victorious!

Beautiful Story
She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: 'How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?'
The surgeon said, 'I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it.'
Sally said, 'Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?'
The surgeon asked, 'Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university..'
Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. 'Would you like a lock of his hair?' the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.
The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. 'I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom.' She went on, 'My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could.'
Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.
The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.
She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them She lay down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.
It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said :
'Dear Mom,
I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say 'I Love You' . I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day.. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.
Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important.. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'where was He when I needed him?' 'God said He was in th e same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.
Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore the cancer is all gone.. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?

The surgeon said, 'I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it.'
Sally said, 'Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?'
The surgeon asked, 'Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university..'
Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. 'Would you like a lock of his hair?' the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.
The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. 'I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom.' She went on, 'My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could.'
Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.
The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.
She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them She lay down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.
It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said :
'Dear Mom,
I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say 'I Love You' . I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day.. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.

Biografi 12 Murid Yesus
Buat yang merasa bahwa hidupnya selalu menderita, cobalah simak biografi kedua
belas murid Jesus ini. Ternyata penderitaan kita bukan apa-apa bila
dibandingkan dengan penderitaan mereka. Percayalah bahwa Tuhan bersama kita.

Kehidupan Para Rasul
Apakah Anda tahu bahwa Rasul Yohanes ketika di Roma ia pernah digoreng
hidup-hidup di dalam minyak mendidih. Apakah ia takut menghadapi ini semua?
Tidak! Ternyata tidak satupun dari para rasul yang memilih untuk hidup senang
dan tentram dengan bersedia mengingkari dan tidak mengakui Tuhan Yesus.
Sejarah tradisi gereja banyak sekali memberikan informasi mengenai kehidupan
sampai dengan bagaimana wafatnya para rasul. Satu penulis sejarah yang bisa
dipertanggung jawabkan tulisannya berdasarkan bukti-bukti nyata ialah
Eusebius. Ia menulis buku mengenai cara meninggalnya para Rasul di tahun 325
yang berjudul: "Rasul dan murid dari Juruselamat telah menyebarkan dan
mengkotbahkan Injil ke seluruh dunia".
Tulisan dari Eusebius telah ditelusuri dan diselidiki ulang oleh penulis
sejarah gereja
kondang Mr. Schumacher untuk membuktikan akan kebenaran dari tulisan tersebut.
1. Matius meninggal dunia, karena disiksa dan dibunuh dengan pedang di
Etiopia.
2. Markus meninggal dunia di Alexandria (Mesir), setelah badannya diseret
hidup-hidup dengan kuda melalui jalan-jalan yang penuh batu sampai ia
menemukan ajalnya.
3. Lukas mati digantung di Yunani, setelah ia berkhotbah di sana kepada
orang-orang yang belum mengenal Tuhan.
4. Yohanes direbus atau lebih tepatnya digoreng di dalam bak minyak
mendidih di Roma, tetapi karena Tuhan masih ingin memakai Yohanes lebih jauh,
maka keajaiban terjadi sehingga walaupun ia telah digoreng hidup-hidup ia bisa
hidup terus. Tetapi akhirnya ia dibuang dan diasingkan ke pulau Patmos untuk
kerja paksa di tambang batubara disana. Pada saat ia berada di sana, ia
mendapatkan wahyu sehingga ia bisa menulis Kitab Wahyu.
Kemudian ia dibebaskan dan akhirnya kembali dan menjadi Uskup di Edessa
(Turki). Ia adalah satu-satunya Rasul yang bisa mencapai usia lanjut dan bisa
meninggal dunia dengan tenang.
5. Petrus telah disalib dengan kepala di bawah. Kayu salib untuk Petrus
dipasang nya berbeda, ialah secara huruf X, karena itulah permohonan yang ia
ajukan sebelum ia disalib, dimana ia memohon untuk disalib dengan cara
demikian. Ia merasa tidak layak untuk mati dan disalib seperti Tuhan Yesus.
6. Yakobus saudara tiri dari Tuhan Yesus dan pemimpin gereja di Yerusalem,
dilempar ke bawah dari puncak bubungan Bait Allah, di tempat yang sama dimana
si setan dahulu membawa Tuhan Yesus untuk digoda. Ia meninggal dunia setelah
dilempar dari tempat tinggi tersebut.
7. Yakobus anak Zebedeus adalah seorang nelayan dan ia adalah murid pertama
yang dipanggil untuk ikut Tuhan Yesus, ia dipenggal kepalanya di Yerusalem.
Pada saat-saat ia disiksapun, ia tidak pernah menyangkal Tuhan Yesus, bahkan ia
berusaha untuk berkhotbah terus, bukan hanya kepada para tawanan lainnya saja,
bahkan kepada orang yang menghukum dan menyiksa dia dengan kejamnya. Sehingga
akhirnya orang Romawi yang menjadi penjaga dan penyiksa dia, bisa turut
bertobat. Penjaga Romawi itu mendampingi Yakobus pada saat ia dihukum penggal,
bukannya sekedar hanya untuk turut menyaksikannya saja, melainkan juga untuk
turut dihukum dan dipenggal bersama dengan Yakobus. Pada saat ia mau menjalani
hukuman mati, ia berlutut bersama di samping Yakobus, sambil berdoa, itu adalah
doanya yang
terakhir, sebelum ia mati dipenggal bersama Yakobus sebagai orang Kristen.
8. Bartolomeus yang lebih dikenal sebagai Natanael ia menjadi misionaris di
Asia, antara lain ia memberikan kesaksian di Turki. Ia meninggal dunia di
Armenia setelah ia mendapat hukuman pukulan cambuk yang sedemikian kejamnya
sehingga semua kulitnya menjadi hancur terlepas kebeset.
9. Andreas juga disalib seperti Petrus dengan cara X di Yunani. Sebelum ia
meninggal, ia disiksa dengan hukum cambuk oleh tujuh tentara dan diikat di
salib. Dengan cara demikian mereka bisa memperpanjang masa sakit dan masa
siksaannya. Seorang pengikut Andreas yang turut menyaksikan hukuman Andreas
menceritakan perkataan yang telah diucapkan oleh Andreas sebelum ia meninggal
dunia: "Ternyata keinginan dan cita-cita saya bisa terkabul dimana saya bisa
turut merasakan "happy hours" dengan disiksa dan disalib seperti Tuhan Yesus."
Bahkan pada saat ia disiksa pun tiada henti-hentinya ia berkhotbah terus, ia
berkotbah terus dua hari sebelum ajalnya tiba. Berkotbah sambil dihukum cambuk."
10. Rasul Thomas mati ditusuk oleh tombak di India.
11. Yudas saudaranya dari Tuhan Yesus dihukum mati dengan panah, karena ia
tidak bersedia untuk mengingkari Tuhan Yesus.
12. Matias, rasul pengganti dari Yudas Iscariot mati dihukum rajam dan
akhirnya dipenggal kepalanya.
13. Rasul Paulus disiksa dengan sangat kejam dan akhirnya dipenggal kepalanya
oleh Kaiser Nero di Roma pada tahun 67. Rasul Paulus adalah rasul yang paling
lama mengalami masa siksaan dipenjara. Kebanyakan surat-surat dari Rasul Paulus
dibuat dan dikirim dari pernjara.
14. Disamping kisah para rasul yang ditulis oleh ahli sejarah Eusebius, ia
juga menceritakan tentang seorang penginjil yang matanya dibakar sampai buta
dengan catatan bahwa kalau ia buta, maka ia tidak akan bisa membaca Alkitab
lagi dengan mana ia tidak akan bisa mengabarkan Injil lagi. Tetapi kenyataannya
ia tetap mengambarkan Injil berdasarkan ayat-ayat yang telah dipelajari dan
diingat sebelumnya.

The Roman Rules of Marriage
Today's Truth
[Let your] love be sincere-a real thing." (Romans 12:9 AMP)
Friend to Friend
February is the month we celebrate love, marriage, and sweethearts. But love is more than frilly Valentine's Cards, heart-shaped candy, and bouquets of roses or balloons. Sometimes love is commitment to hard work.
If you are married, here are some questions for reflection: Do I love my husband well? Do I adore the man God has given to me? Am I admiring him as a child of God? Am I appreciating him for who he is today instead of what he could be if he lived up to my expectations? Am I giving my heart freely or do I make him feel as though he constantly has to earn my love?
Paul gives us some good advice on how to love one another in Romans 12:9-18.
1. Love must be sincere.
2. Cling to what is good.
3. Be devoted to one another.
4. Honor one another above yourselves.
5. Never be lacking in zeal.
6. Be joyful in hope.
7. Be patient in affliction.
8. Be faithful in prayer
9. Share with God's people who are in need.
10.Practice hospitality.
11.Bless those who persecute you.
12.Rejoice with those who rejoice.
13.Mourn with those who mourn.
14.Live in harmony with one another.
15.Do not be proud.
16.Do not be conceited.
17.Do not repay anyone evil for evil.
18.Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody.
19.If it is possible, a far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Now take a look at that list. It is easy to think that talking about our friends or fellow Christians. But if these are the guidelines for loving our friends, how much more are they guidelines for loving our very own husbands! As Ann Landers once said, "Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing, and forgiving. It is a loyalty through good and bad. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses." I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day as you celebrate your marriage. And if you're not married, celebrate the love you share with friends, family, and your heavenly Bridegroom - Jesus Christ.
Let's Pray
Dear God of Love, I pray that I will love others well today. I pray that You will fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I can overflow Your love to those around me. I know that loving others is Your most important command. Help me to keep that foremost in my mind and actions this day.

Kebanyakan orang memikirkan bahawa Valentine's day hanya lah untuk pasangan kekasih sahaja.. Sebenarnya.. bukan hanya untuk pasangan kekasih sahaja.. Hari itu juga boleh di raikan bersama sahabat dan keluarga kita.. Dan bukan pada hari saja itu kita menunjukkan kasih sayang kita lebih kepada mereka.. Tetapi tunjukkan lah setiap hari kepada mereka.. Happy Valentine's day semua... muahhhhhh

Hal Mengucap Syukur
Mengapa Sulit Mengucap Syukur ?
Aku bermimpi suatu hari aku pergi ke surga dan seorang malaikat menemaniku dan menunjukkan keadaan di surga. Kami berjalan memasuki suatu ruang kerja penuh dengan para malaikat. Malaikat yang mengantarku berhenti di depanruang kerja pertama dan berkata, " Ini adalah Seksi Penerimaan. Di sini, semua permintaan yang ditujukan pada Allah diterima".
Aku melihat-lihat sekeliling tempat ini dan aku dapati tempat ini begitu sibuk dengan begitu banyak malaikat yang memilah-milah seluruh permohonan yang tertulis pada kertas dari manusia di seluruh dunia.
Kemudian aku dan malaikat-ku berjalan lagi melalui koridor yang panjang lalu sampailah kami pada ruang kerja kedua. Malaikat-ku berkata, "Ini adalah Seksi Pengepakan dan Pengiriman. Di sini kemuliaan dan berkat yangdiminta manusia diproses dan dikirim ke manusia-manusia yang masih hidup yang memintanya". Aku perhatikan lagi betapa sibuknya ruang kerja itu. Adabanyak malaikat yang bekerja begitu keras karena ada begitu banyaknya permohonan yang dimintakan dan sedang dipaketkan untuk dikirim ke bumi.
Kami melanjutkan perjalanan lagi hingga sampai pada ujung terjauh koridor panjang tersebut dan berhenti pada sebuah pintu ruang kerja yang sangatkecil. Yang sangat mengejutkan aku, hanya ada satu malaikat yang duduk di sana, hampir tidak melakukan apapun. "Ini adalah Seksi Pernyataan Terima Kasih", kata Malaikat-ku pelan. Dia tampak malu. "Bagaimana ini? Mengapa hampir tidak ada pekerjaan disini?", tanyaku. "Menyedihkan", Malaikat-ku menghela napas. " Setelah manusia menerima berkat yang mereka minta, sangat sedikit manusia yang mengirimkan pernyataan terima kasih". "Bagaimana manusia menyatakan terima kasih atas berkat Tuhan?", tanyaku. "Sederhana sekali", jawab Malaikat. "Cukup berkata, "Terima kasih, Tuhan".
"Lalu, berkat apa saja yang perlu kita syukuri", tanyaku. Malaikat-ku menjawab, "Jika engkau mempunyai makanan di lemari es, pakaian yang menutup tubuhmu, atap di atas kepalamu dan tempat untuk tidur, maka engkau lebih kaya dari 75% penduduk dunia ini."
"Jika engkau memiliki uang di bank, di dompetmu, dan uang-uang receh, maka engkau berada diantara 8% kesejahteraan dunia."
"Dan jika engkau mendapatkan pesan ini di komputer mu, engkau adalah bagian dari 1% di dunia yang memiliki kesempatan itu."
Juga.... "Jika engkau bangun pagi ini dengan lebih banyak kesehatan daripada kesakitan ... engkau lebih diberkati daripada begitu banyak orang di dunia ini yang tidak dapat bertahan hidup hingga hari ini."
"Jika engkau tidak pernah mengalami ketakutan dalam perang, kesepian dalam penjara, kesengsaraan penyiksaan, atau kelaparan yang amat sangat, maka engkau lebih beruntung dari 700 juta orang di dunia".
"Jika orangtuamu masih hidup dan masih berada dalam ikatan pernikahan ... maka engkau termasuk orang yang sangat jarang."
"Jika engkau masih bisa mencintai ... maka engkau termasuk orang yang besar, karena cinta adalah berkat Tuhan yang tidak didapat dari manapun."
"Jika engkau dapat menegakkan kepala dan tersenyum, maka engkau bukanlah seperti orang kebanyakan, engkau unik dibandingkan semua mereka yang berada dalam keraguan dan keputusasaan."
"Jika engkau dapat membaca pesan ini, maka engkau menerima berkat ganda, yaitu bahwa seseorang yang mengirimkan ini padamu berpikir bahwa engkau orang yang sangat istimewa baginya, dan bahwa engkau lebih diberkati dari pada lebih dari 2 juta orang di dunia yang bahkan tidak dapat membaca sama sekali".
Nikmatilah hari-harimu, hitunglah berkat yang telah Tuhan anugerahkan kepadamu. Dan jika engkau berkenan, kirimkan pesan ini ke semua teman-temanmu untuk mengingatkan mereka betapa. diberkatinya kita semua.

Hal Melayani Jiwa-Jiwa
Baca: 1 Korintus 9:19-23
“Sungguhpun aku bebas terhadap semua orang, aku menjadikan diriku hamba dari semua orang, supaya aku boleh memenangkan sebanyak mungkin orang.” 1 Korintus 9:19
Berbicara tentang pelayanan penginjilan, sosok Paulus patut dikedepankan dan menjadi panutan bagi kita sebagai orang percaya. Memberitakan Injil adalah tugas dan tanggung jawab setiap orang Kristen karena ini adalah Amanat Agung Allah: “Karena itu pergilah, jadikanlah semua bangsa murid-Ku dan baptislah mereka dalam nama Bapa dan Anak dan Roh Kudus, dan ajarlah mereka melakukan segala sesuatu yang telah Kuperintahkan kepadamu.” (Matius 28:19-20a). Itulah yang mendasari pelayanan Paulus, bahkan dengan ungkapan “menjadikan diriku hamba dari semua orang” menunjukkan bahwa dalam segala hal ia belajar meneladani Pribadi Kristus.
Tuhan Yesus berkata, “Barangsiapa ingin menjadi besar di antara kamu, hendaklah ia menjadi pelayanmu, dan barangsiapa ingin menjadi terkemuka di antara kamu, hendaklah ia menjadi hambamu; sama seperti Anak Manusia datang bukan untuk dilayani, melainkan untuk melayani dan untuk memberikan nyawa-Nya menjadi tebusan bagi banyak orang.” (Matius 20:26b-28). Paulus tidak keras dalam hal cara memberitakan Injil, tetapi ia belajar peka terhadap keadaan orang yang hendak dilayaninya serta berusaha menyesuaikan diri agar ia dapat diterima dengan baik dan beroleh kesempatan untuk terus dapat memberitakan Injil.
Paulus membangun hubungan yang baik dengan semua orang sebagai pembuka jalan bagi masuknya Injil. Meskipun demikian, bukan berarti Paulus kompromi dengan cara hidup mereka yang tidak berkenan kepada Tuhan. Penyesuaian diri Paulus hanya terbata dalam hal-hal yang bukan prinsip atau yang tidak bertentangan dengan Firman. Bukan berarti Paulus tidak punya pendirian, melainkan fleksibel. Pendekatan yang fleksibel adalah strategi untuk memenangkan jiwa bagi Kerajaan Allah. Ia tidak ingin terjebak dalam sikap yang kaku, memaksa atau ekstrem, yang justru dapat menghambat pemberitaan Injil. Maka, marilah minta pimpinan Roh Kudus dan milikilah sikap yang bijaksana dalam melayani jiwa-jiwa, jangan dengan kekuatan sendiri!
“Beritakanlah firman, siap sedialah baik atau tidak baik waktunya, nyatakanlah apa yang salah, tegorlah dan nasihatilah dengan segala kesabaran dan pengajaran.” 2 Timotius 4:2

“Sungguhpun aku bebas terhadap semua orang, aku menjadikan diriku hamba dari semua orang, supaya aku boleh memenangkan sebanyak mungkin orang.” 1 Korintus 9:19
Berbicara tentang pelayanan penginjilan, sosok Paulus patut dikedepankan dan menjadi panutan bagi kita sebagai orang percaya. Memberitakan Injil adalah tugas dan tanggung jawab setiap orang Kristen karena ini adalah Amanat Agung Allah: “Karena itu pergilah, jadikanlah semua bangsa murid-Ku dan baptislah mereka dalam nama Bapa dan Anak dan Roh Kudus, dan ajarlah mereka melakukan segala sesuatu yang telah Kuperintahkan kepadamu.” (Matius 28:19-20a). Itulah yang mendasari pelayanan Paulus, bahkan dengan ungkapan “menjadikan diriku hamba dari semua orang” menunjukkan bahwa dalam segala hal ia belajar meneladani Pribadi Kristus.
Tuhan Yesus berkata, “Barangsiapa ingin menjadi besar di antara kamu, hendaklah ia menjadi pelayanmu, dan barangsiapa ingin menjadi terkemuka di antara kamu, hendaklah ia menjadi hambamu; sama seperti Anak Manusia datang bukan untuk dilayani, melainkan untuk melayani dan untuk memberikan nyawa-Nya menjadi tebusan bagi banyak orang.” (Matius 20:26b-28). Natal Dan Tahun Baru (2009)
"Selamat Hari Natal dan Tahun Baru" bagi semua teman-teman seiman..
Seronok sangat menyambut Natal tahun ini.. 2 tahun sudah tidak menyambut Natal bersama keluarga. Dan puji Tuhan Natal 2008 dapat juga menyambut bersama mereka.. Menitis air mata melihat keluarga bersatu menyambut hari Kelahiran Tuhan Yesus Kristus. Lama sudah tidak bersama sama seperti itu.. Berkumpul bersama, berdoa, makan dan bergurau senda.. wahhh.. indah sekali...
Teringat dengan arwah ibu yang tidak bersama.. sedih nya.. Pasti akan sempurna jika dia ada.. Tapi kami hanya mampu berdoa agar dia terus di berkati Tuhan.. Di saat kita merayakan Natal.. jangan lah lupa dengan yang telah tiada...
Yang penting kita faham akan erti Natal.. Tuhan dilahir ke dunia menjadi manusia biasa.. Dan Dia di seksa dan mati di atas kayu Salib bagi menebus dosa kita..
Besar sungguh pengorbanan Yesus bagi kita kan..Darah Nya yang suci mengalir menghapus dosa kita... Asal kita memohon pengampunan dengan sungguh-sungguh dan iman pasti Dia mengampuni dan menolong kita... Amen
